Agricultural experiments subsidy, Groningen
On 8 September 2026 the province of Groningen announced a new subsidy for farmers to test new techniques, crops and sustainability measures in practice. Applications have been possible since 1 October 2026. A total of €1 million is available: small experiments up to €25,000 per project, larger innovation projects up to €125,000. No closing date is mentioned.

Amendment of the Alcohol Act (bill)
Bill submitted on 19 January 2026 (parliamentary paper 36884), still being considered by the House of Representatives. No definitive start date. Proposed: small games of chance allowed in hospitality venues, stricter age checks for online sale and delivery of alcohol with extra NVWA supervision, and an adjusted maximum fine.

DUMAVA: sustainable public-sector buildings
Subsidy for owners of public-sector buildings (such as schools, care and sports buildings) for energy advice and sustainability measures. The current round ran from 1 June 2026 and closes on Friday 16 October 2026 at 17:00. RVO reports a total budget of €405 million, about half of which was still available on 12 October 2026. Single measures are reimbursed at 20%, integrated projects at 30% (40% with high energy performance).

EIA: energy investment allowance
Tax relief for energy-saving equipment such as cooling systems, LED lighting and heat pumps. 40% of the cost is deductible, roughly 10% net tax benefit. The 2026 Energy List has been available since 10 February 2026.

Government nitrogen package: farm standards and zones around nature
On 26 June 2026 the government presented a nitrogen package. Dairy farms get a standard of 0.164 kilos of ammonia per phosphate right in 2035; standards for poultry, pigs and calves follow in early 2027. A land-based standard of 2.6 livestock units per hectare is introduced, plus an extra zone of 500 or 1,000 metres around about 100 nitrogen-sensitive areas. The government allocates €2 billion for adapting barns and feed and €9 billion for a support package with the provinces. The bill with the new nitrogen targets was expected to go to parliament in October.

ISDE is open: applications have been possible since 5 January 2026. Changes for 2026: the starting amount for an air-to-water heat pump (first unit) is €1,025 (was €1,250), €225 per kW applies from the first kW, and the label bonus is €200.

Knowledge and information for farmers, Limburg (CAP)
The province of Limburg has opened a 2026 scheme for knowledge transfer in agriculture: training, workshops, coaching and demonstrations for groups of farmers, or a demonstration project on your own farm. Applications from 7 September to Monday 19 October 2026 (17:00) via Stimulus. Between €50,000 and €100,000 per application, with separate ceilings for organic farming, the wine sector and other applications.

Lighter annual accountability for micro care providers (Wtza)
Amendment adopted on 26 March 2024: the minister may limit the annual accountability obligation for micro care providers (two of three: assets up to €450,000, net turnover up to €900,000, fewer than 10 employees). The concrete lighter rules and the financial year have not yet been set.

Non-productive investments in agriculture, Overijssel
RVO has opened the CAP scheme for non-productive investments on farms for Overijssel, for measures that contribute to water and climate goals, such as herb-rich field margins. Applications from 9 September to 9 November 2026 (17:00). Two budgets: €1 million for farmers' organisations and partnerships (minimum €25,000 per application) and €2.4 million for agricultural collectives (minimum €165,000). Water system investments are reimbursed at 70%, other investments at 100%.

Non-productive investments in agriculture, Utrecht
In the province of Utrecht the same CAP scheme for non-productive investments on farms is open to agricultural collectives from 12 October to 10 December 2026 (17:00). The budget is €4.2 million, with a minimum of €10,000 per application. Water system investments are reimbursed at 70%, other investments at 100%.

Pay transparency: salary in job adverts becomes mandatory
EU directive 2023/970 should have been transposed into Dutch law by 7 June 2026; that did not happen. The bill (36949) is before the House of Representatives and not yet adopted; the government assumes 1 January 2027. Once in force: salary or salary range before the first interview, no questions about previous salary, and employees may request pay data of comparable colleagues. Reporting on pay gaps: yearly from 250 employees, every three years from 100.

SVVE: sustainability subsidy for owners' associations
According to RVO the SVVE (successor of the SEEH) is open to applications from owners' associations (VvE) until the end of 2030. The conditions were adjusted on 1 January 2026 and €25 million extra budget is coming for SVVE applications.

Training subsidy for hairdressers 2025/2026
Employers in the hairdressing sector get 50% of training costs back, up to €100 per employee, for training followed between 1 November 2025 and 31 December 2026. Run by the Brancheplatform Kappers on behalf of ANKO, CNV and FNV MOOI. Total budget €200,000, first come first served.
