Privacy
In plain language: what we store about you, why, and how to remove it.
What data
- Your email address (for your account and, if you enable them, notifications)
- Business details you enter yourself: business name, sector, business size, province and municipality
- Your preferences: areas of interest, modules and your ratings of how relevant updates are
What we use it for
Only to show you updates relevant to your business, and to email them to you if you have given and confirmed your consent. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who processes your data
- Supabase: storage of your account and profile (via Lovable Cloud)
- Resend: sending emails
These parties process data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. Once your account is deleted, your data is deleted, except for anything we must retain by law (such as invoices).
Unsubscribing and deletion
You can unsubscribe from emails using the link at the bottom of each email or in Settings. Want to have your account and all your data deleted, or find out what data we hold about you? Emailsupport@radarapp.nl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Your status for each update
In My Radar, you can choose a status for each update (Viewed, Applied, Awarded, Rejected or Not applicable) and enter an amount for Awarded. This lets you track your own applications. Only you can see this data. Our only other use is for statistics, anonymised and aggregated by sector, without identifying any business or person; we only aggregate amounts when there are at least five awards. The data is kept until you delete your account.
The list from the sector check
We use your municipality, business size and interests to personalise the check and the first email containing your list. We only process these extra choices during your request; we do not store them separately with the prospective customer's details. They are included in the sign-up link so you can transfer them to your profile.
If you request the sector check list on the home page, we only store your email address, chosen sector and province, the time, and the fact that the request came through the sector check. No IP address or browser data. We use this to send you the list and then no more than two follow-up emails about RadarApp. You can unsubscribe with one click in any email; you will receive nothing further after that. Your data is deleted after you unsubscribe, or after 90 days if you do not create an account. If you do create an account, the follow-up emails stop.
Referrals
If you sign up through another customer's link, we process the referral code, the link between your account and the referrer's account, the date and the referral status. We do this to apply credit and discounts. The referrer only sees the date and status, not your name or email address. RadarApp never emails customers' contacts. We keep this data while both accounts exist, for no more than 2 years after the last status change, unless we need to keep it longer for record-keeping purposes.
Personal accounts
To be verified by the lawyer.
If you have a personal account, we only store what you enter yourself: your postcode (digits only, to identify your municipality and province), municipality, household, home, work situation, interests and the life events you select. We do not ask for income, diagnoses, marital status or business details, and we do not infer anything else from your data.
Expecting or recently having had a child, providing unpaid care, and being long-term ill or unable to work are health-related data. We only process these if you give separate, explicit consent. We record when you gave that consent. You withdraw consent by unticking the box; we then immediately delete the data and the record of your consent.
We only use this data to show you relevant updates and, if you enable it, email them to you. We never sell or share it, or use it for advertising or profiling beyond this matching. We keep each item of data until you turn it off yourself or delete your account.
If you request a list through the personal check without an account, we only store your email address, the province associated with your postcode, the time, and the fact that the request came through that check. We only use your other choices for that one list. After that, the same rules apply as for the sector check: no more than two follow-up emails, one-click unsubscribing and deletion after you unsubscribe or after 90 days.
Personal add-on
To be verified by the lawyer.
If you add personal use to your business account, we create a separate personal profile linked to your account. It contains only the data listed above under personal accounts, with separate consent for health-related life events and a separate choice for email notifications. We do not use your business data for personal updates or your personal data for business updates.
You can delete your personal profile separately in Settings. We then immediately delete the profile and personal notifications, while your business account remains. If you delete your entire account, your personal profile is also deleted.
Radar report
To be verified by the lawyer.
If you buy a radar report, we keep your email address (or the link to your account), your chosen profile (sector, province, municipality, business size and interests), the creation date, price, payment status and the report itself in restricted-access storage. We use this to send you the report, make it available to download in My Radar if you are a subscriber, send one email after 30 days with what has been added since, and apply any offset against an annual subscription. We send nothing further after that unless you take out a subscription. We keep this data for as long as needed for these purposes and record-keeping.
Introductions with accountants
To be verified by the lawyer.
If you request an introduction as an accountant, we store your name, firm, email address, selected client-count category, language and the time of your request. We use these details only to contact you about this introduction. You receive no newsletter or automatic confirmation email. Only the owner of RadarApp can read requests. To have your details removed, email support@radarapp.nl. We keep them no longer than needed for contact about the introduction.
Waiting list for individuals
If you previously added your email address to the waiting list, we only store that address, the time, and the fact that it came through the page for individuals. We send you no more than one email about RadarApp for individuals. We keep it until that email has been sent or you unsubscribe, and do not pass it on to anyone. To limit misuse, we briefly store a value derived from your IP address that has been made unrecognisable, separately from your email address. We delete it after 24 hours.
